According to a report by the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William F. Kumuyi has disclosed that his fellowship with Bishop David Oyedepo, the Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, began more than five decades ago.
Kumuyi made the revelation during a recent sermon published on YouTube, while appreciating Oyedepo for worshipping with members of the Deeper Life congregation at the fourth day of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi in Ota.
The Deeper Life leader explained that although many members of both ministries may not have known about their history, he and Oyedepo had maintained a relationship since the 1970s.
Kumuyi also spoke humorously about their age, saying they were “growing younger” while rebuilding the close fellowship they had enjoyed over the years. He expressed confidence that their renewed relationship would lead to greater things in the future.
The cleric further prayed for long life for those participating in the fellowship, asking that they remain alive to witness and benefit from what he described as greater developments ahead.
The meeting between the two prominent Nigerian Christian leaders highlights their longstanding relationship and renewed public fellowship.
